Microsoft’s largest update to Windows 10 is will be released on August 2. The second major update to Windows 10, dubbed the Anniversary Update (AU) promises a lot of new features.

Get ready for big changes like extensions for Microsoft Edge, full-screen Game Bar support, multi-account switching for Skype’s UWP app, smarter inking features via Windows Ink and probably our favorite – the ability to run third-party antivirus suite alongside Windows Defender. For our customers that have Windows 10, you will begin to see the AU land on your PC via Windows Update beginning on August 2, 2016.  If you feel comfortable updating on your own, go for it!  Please be sure to backup first. We’re always a call away if you run into problems.
